Sophie is an excellent acupuncturist and MD that gave me my life back.  Furthermore, she is a caring, qualified professional.  
I came to see Sophie as my last resource.  I have Lupus, Sjogren's, Raynaud's, fibromyalgia, and Mix Connective Tissue Disease; hence I developed severe Clinical Anxiety and Depression. I was desperate with the fatigue, unbearable pain and numbness in my swollen hands, fingers, arms and back 24/7. I was completely dysfunctional. I could not sleep, take a shower, brush my hair, or get dressed.  I used disposable dishes, cups and cutlery because the real thing was too heavy for my hands besides, I was not able to do the dishes.
I never had acupuncture before and was a bit skeptical.  Since the very first day, Sophie took her time to listen to my health problems (what doctor does that these days?). Any health professional MUST have your medical history in case there are treatment contraindications.  I greatly appreciated the she took the time to ask about my medical history so she could give me the appropriate treatment (cupping and acupuncture). Sophie has a Western medical background.  She was a practicing OB/GYN in China and explained to me Medical schools in China always include Eastern Medicine in their curriculum; the combination gives her a broader knowledge on how to treat her patients.
